The comprehensive design of this station was carried out by a multidisciplinary team of engineers and consisted of the mechanical design of the frame, the development of software in LabVIEW, the design of the fixture, the electrical design of the entire assembly, and the entire assembly.

The device is designed to verify voltage and current measurements, and to write and read parameters from the EEPROM via LIN communication. Once the test is complete, the data is uploaded from LabVIEW to the iTAC traceability platform, and a label is printed for the operator to affix to the part.

Different equipment was integrated, such as a BK PRECISION programmable power supply, MOXA ioLogik Modbus industrial I/O devices, Keyence code readers, a label printer, and a LIN bus interface.

Need

Check operation, voltages and current consumption of encapsulated electronic boards of the NISSAN vehicle heating system, as well as reading and writing EEPROM parameters.

Solution

Develop an off-line bench for manual loading but automatic test sequence.
